Countries With the Highest Frequent Prayer
Every country with a figure for frequent prayer, ranked from highest to lowest. The top three are Nigeria (98.4%), Libya (97.6%) and Trinidad and Tobago (96.8%). The middle country of the 81 has 68.3%.
What this measures
Share praying at least several times a week, in % of respondents. Source: World Values Survey Association and European Values Study. For this measure, no agreed better direction.
Private practice. Attendance is public practice, and importance is belief. The three can differ: a country can pray often and attend rarely. Asked only from the 2014 wave on, so it covers about eighty countries. No "better" direction is set, for the same reason as attendance.
