US Counties With the Highest Share Divorced
3,185 US counties ranked by share divorced, from highest to lowest. First are Camas County, ID (28%), Trinity County, CA (27.3%) and Lincoln County, NV (22.6%). The middle one of the 3,185 has 11.9%.
What this measures
The percentage of people aged 15 and over who are divorced and have not remarried. It counts who is divorced now, not how many divorces happen. A county where many marriages end but people quickly remarry can show a low figure. Source: Census ACS 5-year.
