US Counties With the Highest Mobility Disability

2,956 US counties ranked by mobility disability, from highest to lowest. First are Oglala Lakota County, SD (28.8%), Todd County, SD (27.2%) and East Carroll Parish, LA (26.3%). The middle one of the 2,956 has 13.2%.

What this measures

The estimated percentage of adults who report serious difficulty walking or climbing stairs. It is adjusted so places with older or younger populations can be compared fairly. It is an estimate from a statistical model, not a direct count from a local survey. Source: CDC PLACES.
